We ve got Fay in today and we re going to do her right hand. I ve challenged her to only use 6 colours, she picked 8 and then we whittled it down to 7. I ve already prepped the nails so I m just going to wipe over and then apply my forms and do a clear base on each of the nails. On the pointer finger I m doing a line of Natural Beige down the centre and using the glitters and Berrylicious on the edges. For the middle finger I m going to do a smile line in the ballerina shape and use the coloured acrylics and the gold leaf. I m going to make this nail transparent too. For the ring finger I m doing a base of glitter, do the rest with Natural Beige and then apply my netting to create grooves for my glitter to sit in. On the pinky I m going to do most of the nail Natural Beige with a border of glitter. On the thumb I m going to do a diagonal smile line and fill the rest of the nail with glitter and gold foil. I have perhaps a silly question. Can you mix monomers your get an in-between setting time? Like a medium speed and max adhesion for a slightly slower than medium but quicker than max adhesion?
