I'm slightly confused about what comes after the acrygel step. If i planned on applying a colored gel polish over the acrygel, should I apply a base coat on top of the acrygel (because in the previous video she topped Cassidy's nails with a top coat, but it looks matte here o. O) then proceed normally with the colored gel polish? A) Acrygel > Top coat > Colored gel polish > Top Coat-OR-B) Acrygel > Base coat > Colored gel polish > Top Coat

I am not trying to be rude but I just dont think it is write for a 9 year old to be having acrylic nails it also dissent look good on a little girl it makes them look bratty and that girl looks like a the sweetest girl ever but those nails dont look right on 9 year old those type of nails and length are meant for like 12 year olds not 9 years olds tbh 12 is also kinda young for acrylic nails the proper age would be like 13 or 14

Your daughter's are so beautiful, polite and charming Kirsty I so remember being their age and playing around with nails (who am I kidding, I still do, I've just graduated to doing then properly rather than kiddo plastic tips Not much has changed in the last 20-odd years) I would have killed for my mum to be as talented as you with nail art (as it was, I did her nails at 9 and I still do Thankfully her manicures are better nowadays)

to all the negative people in the comments: i bet your parent/guardian gave you things that other parents/guardians would disapprove of, like candy or games that would keep you in the house. so to all those people giving this mum a hard time over a harmless bonding experience with her daughter, you can all take a nice long walk off a short pier

Kirsty could you please post a video explaining what you did with the scales, how you painted the background, then colored gel over that, then drew scales on with topcoat and somehow got to where the scales were the color and the background was peeking through the gel in between the scales? I just can't figure it out, it's magical

Always enjoy the bond with my girls nails too, I have three daughters. I started off doing their nails when they were around 9-10 years old grown up now and they still have perfectly healthy nails. This is great mom daughter time.

So I have the aqua gel myself and I cant seem to figure out a way to get it more permanent I always wondered why it pops off my fingers. Is it meant to be temporary? I would used dehydrator and primer idk what Im doing wrong
