That's a gorgeous nail, even if I'm not a fan of the Russian Almond I want to get some of the sparkly mylar sheets that are kind of checkered and do a cabochon in clear Acrygel over it so that it looks like a fire opal I think it would be drop-dead gorgeous Not to mention easier than faceted stone simulation. I'm wondering why Kirsty chose to use clear acrylic rather than either the Acrygel or clear builder gel since both of those products are more clear than the clear acrylic. I say that even though I do clear acrylic overlays on my natural nails and I've done it enough that it turns out really clear. But again, I take Kirsty's lessons very seriously and apply them to myself. If anything, my clear acrylic application is a little too clear now and shows all the little flaws in my natural nails. That's why I'm purchasing a cover pink in my next Naio order.

I think you should make a diamond nail in 3d. Like a stiletto nail with all the angles and then put one of those rubbing powders that are like translucent that you used for the unicorn horn nail. I dont know if you understand what i mean. Nevertheless, i think you are the greatest nail artist. It is a dream of mine to have my nails done by you. Thank you for sharing your talent and techniques with us. Its a real honour.

Wow that's a great technique with the paper, I am. going to try this when I do my nails next. oh, I used my acrylgel last night and I have to say, it is absolutely brilliant, it's so easy to use, I was really surprised at how hard it cures, I recommend this product to everyone, it's great for newbies or even if you just want nice nails like me. Reasonable price too. I'm hooked, I need every colour. TFS

Oh my God, that is sooooo stunning I really need some beautiful nails in my life I really love the bling, its so beautiful, it really is, but I really do feel like Kirsty is so talented at this that the bling can take away from those awesome designs and art sometimes. did you get this (the folded foil diamond design not the filed out acrylic) from April Ryan (Red iguana? She did a silver one a few weeks ago, it doesn't really matter other then curious and if you did then maybe some credit is due that's all.
