I just tried to put in my contacts but the contact lense didn't sit on my lense properly so I blinked to get it in place but the contact was just not there anymore so I was like omg where the heck is my contact so I kind of lifted my eyelid and it was up my eyeball if that makes sense (I got it out but damn I'm scared to ever put in contacts ever again)

You take it out exactly how I do. I dont have long nails though. Everyone pinches it out but I feel like that can scratch your eye (or cornea to be exact) and rip the lens. So sliding it out is better Sometimes it wont slide if the eye is dry so you need to put in eye drops but thats the only con of sliding them out.

Im going on holiday in about a week, I want to get some long acrylics but Im mostly worried about taking them out. I want to go in the sea with them even though I understand the risks of infection but Im worried if I need to take my contacts out quickly I wont be able too, any advice?

You're never supposed to put in contacts AFTER makeup. That completely defeats the purpose of washing your hands. Your lens DOES pick up small debris from eyelids and lashes when you put them into your eyes. Don't do what this guy is doing.

Omg I always get nervous taking out my lens because I was taught to pinch it to take it out but you make sliding it out look so easy Gotta practice that method now because Im not about to accidentally scratch my eye while pinching >_

I'm so relieved that pinching it gently with my nails wasn't something I should not have done. I just wore my contacts today and I didn't want to cut my nails. I still don't get how you make them fall out like that tho.

i can take them and put them in when i have long stiletto nails but when i have long coffin nails i can put them in but hell no to taking them out i push them out with a q tip lmao

I know this was awhile ago but your a life saver Now I can get acrylics everything I got acrylics I had such a hard time putting and taking out my contact lenses. So thank you

I used to wear very long curved nails some to 4 inch, in bathroom sink make sure to close drain I used my knuckles to take them out, I put them in using back of knuckle

i would love to wear contacts so badly it makes your eyes look so nice but i just cant pull myself to do it it makes me cringe so bad sticking fingers in your eyes: (
