Patrick I really think this review wasnt made at all good:
1. If your gonna review products, you should do some more digging. For example the balls on the top are for people that struggle with artritis or anxiety so they dont have a problem open it up. Its a reaaalllyyy important fact to know about these products and you didnt even mention it. Also you didnt mention the products are eco-friendly, cruelty free, vegan, AND that the donations that get to 100. 000 over 10 years are going to help people that struggle with their mental health
2. After seeing the video, I think that you werent very honest, and you literally used this video to compare the sizes, prices, to your products. You were comparing everything like a competition. I think that you could have done a better review! Just my opinion

To quote Selena's bestie You need to calm down, you're being to loud. He did not dig a grave for her launch. He gave an honest opinion and he basically said hey I'm a boy wearing makeup so I like a full coverage product but this working fine and feels good. There was genuine surprise and interest as he reviewed the products. He does not need to know all this stuff about it because he is not selling it. He is a person who is entitled to an opinion. Personally, I am very impressed with the thought and care that has gone into this launch but that does not mean people can't have an opinion about the product.

Idk if it s just me, but I kinda get the vibe that Patrick s intensely comparing his brand and Fenty with Rare Beauty. They aren t very similar. O/S and Fenty are both more full coverage brands and Rare Beauty is very much moderate-light coverage but clean, eco-friendly, & friendly to disabled individuals. In the video with Selena and Nikkitutorials, Selena says that she made her brand without competition in mind and she says that she doesn t want competition, but Patrick is out here intensely comparing like it s a competition and honestly. Idk how I feel about it.

not you promoting your brand when doing a review for another brand i think you should really read into the brand before talking about it. the ball on the top is to help people with arthritis or lupus like selena herself. it s all made to work easier for people who have motor difficulties. this brand is about EMBRACING your imperfections rather than cover them up. makeup is supposed to be fun. not a competition and you re making it sound it s that way. this makes me want to try the brand even more because i don t like looking like a powdered donut.

in my opinion, it makes you a good makeup artist to be flexibel in your looks, not just treat a beauty line with what you want to treat it, but what would complement it the best. for a review, you didn't't bring rare beauty's potential out and compared it too much with your own brand.
a better example of this is your brand fits your aesthetic and the way you do your makeup. exactly that way Selena's brand fits her aesthetic.
this isn't hate, it's just something I'd like to point out for you in the future

He literally said that it's not his jam and he prefers more of a glam look, but if you prefer something more natural then go on, rare beauty is for you! The caps of the lipsticks are also loose and easy to open. So everything is catered for people with shaky and weak hands The whole collection was made with people with arthritis in mind. The sponge is so soft because it is easier to wring out than a super dense one when your hands are really in pain and sensitive. (Just fyi because i think a lot of people dont realize that: )

This was not a review of rare beauty products. Just him using the hype for self promo. I m hoping Jeffrey Star will give us an actual honest review, knowing that rare beauty is more of a natural beauty enhancing product, not full coverage like he is used to doing. Each product caters to different tastes.
