I Used The Aztec Healing Clay Mask On My Hair SimplyRickeeta: Oh Lord. First, people please stop saying this is only for curly hair because that is NOT accurate. Ok, mist your hair just a bit before applying the mask using your fingers. Once it is rinsed off you want to follow up with your shampoo AND ALWAYS use conditioner and leave-in conditioner. The mask will detox your hair and leave it looking healthier BUT the hair still needs to go through certain steps to reach the proper ph that will close the cuticles again. That final process of closing the cuticles is where you feel the difference. No matter what you're doing to your hair always follow the steps and condition.

I hate regular shampoos and conditioners (even the natural silicone free, sulphate free ones) specifically because they make my hair so silky and soft and I can -run my fingers through it- which means the hair is so silky and soft and becomes fine and looks thin and flat and stuck to the head and then we have to use multiple additional products to get volume and then we have to clarify to get rid of all these products. We are so brainwashed about having to have our hair -silky smooth-.

I did this yesterday and it completely sucked out the moisture of my short thick hair and will leave your hair very straw like! In order to restore it I would recommend wetting all of your hair (I used a spray bottle) then applying a bunch of conditioner. It is a wonderful face mask but I recommend using it as that alone. Hope this helped!

I have 3a hair and I mixed it with just water, put it on wet hair, and left it on for ten minutes. The majority of my hair is bleached blonde and on that part it just made it very dry and rough, BUT my new hair growing in (about 4-5 inches) felt soooooo good after, felt very soft, and looked super shiny.

Bentonite s too drying. ACV is too acidic. This mix might irritate some scalps so one can try out Rhassoul clay as an alternative as it s gentler & more suitable for irritated, itchy scalps

Apply it to wet hair. And then wash it out with apple cider vinegar. These experiments are a waste of time if youre not going to do it correctly
