Also, indigo is a powder which is not able to permanently dye hair without a lawsonia (red henna) base.
Also, while henna can be applied either immediately or hours later, indigo loses its dyeing power after 2h, so it must be applied immediately (avoid lemon or water that it's too hot, it releases the color at its best in a basic environment (you can add a pinch of salt or bicarbonate)
Do NOT wash the hair with shampoo afterwards or most of the benefits will be lost, just rinse it with warm water and apply a hydrating conditioner if you feel the need to.
Avoid washing it for 3 more days if possible. If the powders are good quality they are very easy to wash out as they are fine, like talc.
Henna 20%+ good quality indigo 80% is a good mix to get a rich black hair color.

I would specifically buy henna at any Indian or Desi store. Henna is widely used in India and provides many benefits to your hair. Also. you should buy henna in powder form rather than block. Powdered henna is best because it is simply henna leafs dehydrated and crushed up so -technically- it is in its -purest- packaged form. Also powdered henna smells more lemony and citrusy rather than like poop. Also you should boil the henna with some water for optimal results. It reduces and becomes thick and black and it it is smoother and easier to apply. You should try applying coconut or any oil before using the henna. I hope the next time you try henna this tips will work!

This is not the original Henna that comes without any additives We Arabs used to use dried and powdered Henna leaves and also does not have black color just brown and makes hair color degrees red and brown and the benefit of Henna is to give the hair color and make it healthy and thick and strong so we see the Arab hair this As for the dye because the hair can not catch the color to be applied so it is better to wait from one to two years after the application of Henna for dye also Henna can be used weekly or monthly and must be put a little oil to not destroy the hair before applying

Could you try the Garnier SkinActive Aloe Vera Face wash + Aloe Vera Moisturizer? They-re 97%-99% naturally derived and are vegan. I have oily skin and have breakouts here and there and I used to get dry patches (even though I have oily skin) but I started using these products and my skin has been soft, moisturized and clear of acne for the most part (I only use the moisturizer at night and a different one during the day. It has also over time faded any acne scars I had. You should try it out if it works for you, it-s designed for sensitive skin but works well for me. -

Im Algerian and the henna we have here is grounded down and powdered ro easily make a paste with. I love the smell, its so earthy and nice. However the lush henna is mixed with other stuff and the smell is absolutely atrocious. Not the henna smell im used to growing up and use now! But i do reccomend people using it to strengthen hair, retain length for hair growth. North africans, middle easterns and south east asians have been using it for thousands of years. Its great!

there are a bunch of things to know about henna, when I reasearched it it took me a long time to find the right REAL information! to get the best experience with it I recommend you go on ANCIENT SUNRISE website, they have an ebook on henna and it's so well explained! an other thing is buying good henna (because I buy it in France I can't suggest you mine) but I discovered it by searching for the most finely sifted so it mixes and rinses out easily.

You're not the first person I've heard calling henna poop or complaining about it's smell. But being an Indian who uses powder henna, I'd say that it sure doesn't look like the most appealing thing, but the smell isn't actually that bad. The henna we use in India smells mostly like herbs. I don't know why the lush henna gives out such a smell, it just doesn't seem good to me: (

I honestly thought it would dye your hair jet black lol. But it did make your hair a little bit darker. Im surprised it actually worked tbh. And I can only imagine the smell lol. Awesome video as always!

I think if you use proper henna then bleach the same hair a year or so after, it won-t melt your hair but your hair would just neverrr lift to a light blonde it-ll still have an orange hue

That looks more like Indigo, you should have added salt to it to help it. the actual henna dye mixture requires lemon juice and for it to sit several Mins. It still looks really good tho
