Obviously you are going to be unsatisfied if you use vintage makeup and expect it to provide a modern look and be as easy to apply as modern makeup is. It did not work out because you did not understand the product and how to use It. I suggest you keep your reviews in the area of makeup and beauty products that you actually know cause anyone with a light knowledge of vintage makeup or history of makeup can tell that you are just not informed enough to review this product.

I've watched all your recent videos now I'm going backwards and catching up on the ones from last year. I love you girl you give us so many wonderful tips and you're so not stuck up acting like you're better than anyone. Try the 13. 99 black cake mascara by the Etsy shop KeepingItNatural, use a spoolie, and wet the cake with some moisturizing aloe vera juice. But you definitely need to leave yourself time to practice. First layer is very thin but definitely buildable. Best for those who do not want or need heavy mascara. The pros to this cake mascara are natural ingredients PLUS you aren't tossing another plastic tube into a landfill: D

My best friends mom used to use a cake mascara (in the 80s) and she was an artist. What I noticed was she had like a little well in the middle. The more you middle it and let it get thick, the thicker it is. That thinner consistency is great when you want that next-day left over eyeliner feeling. This is a nifty brand. Ive seen Tati using the Snow White Mirror since this. Maybe she got hip to it.

There were audio issues on the last clip in this video. Besides that, I think this is a neat concept but could have been executed in better packaging. A suggestion would be to get clear packing tape and put it on the edges of the box touching the brick or find a small metal pan to hold the brick in place and not smudge everywhere.

I have this mascara and it is a hassle it doesn't give pay off by 2017 standards. When you think this type of mascara is from when women weren't supposed to wear makeup-i think it's the most natural looking mascara ever. It makes your lashes darker and looks better than brown (my go to for no makeup mascara)

I feel like as a mascara it would look horrible on me. My sparse short Asian lashes need more help and it seems that this mascara won't give me the voluma nad length that I need. I would still love it for eyeliner and brows. I am still thinking if I would buy it. I had never splurged 25 for a mascara alone.

Maybeline use to make a cake mascara with a tiny brush like that, it was in a red plastic case, my mom use to use it everyday (many many years ago. never mind how many lol, but she caked it on, she always look really pretty with it on her eyelashes, this is nothing new, just differently packaged
