I stopped my subscription for a while not because I don't love you (and James, but because your choices were always very safe and predictable. I totally think you countless pull off some much more edgy looks. so what if everyone doesn't love them. That's kind of the point I agree, that brown shade looks GORGEOUS on you. I have it as well, and I make it work by applying, blotting, then applying and blotting with my finger to create a deeper stain. They also can be made to last a smidge longer by applying, blotting (I use Kimwipes, those papers you use to clean microscope lenses because they have ZERO fluff fallout-GREAT for not ruining mascara when you need to wipe the excess off the wand, using lipliner all over the lips then applying another layer (+or- blotting. These lippies are very comfortable to wear and great if you're going out to dinner (where I've learned never to wear liquid lipsticks cuz they end up wearing off all crazy and smear all over your face. As long as you have plenty of opportunity to reapply, they're nice. I like the UD high pigment gloss formula better, though.

I feel like people are too harsh these days when it comes to lip colors, especially ones that aren't matte, I think it's patchy because it's supposed to be something that isn't as intense and sticks around as long as a matte lipstick is. I think for what these are they're clearly beautiful. It's like Tati had to make up for the fact they're a liquid lipstick that doesn't dry matte Every product isn't perfect, yes, nars is expensive but I hope people stop obsessing over matte, I much prefer tubes that's why I was so excited when J. Star launched the ammunition, I hope we're going back to non-matte dry formulas

Just saw these on Sephora's website and got so excited so decided to watch some videos to decide if they are worth purchasing or if I should go with a Velvet Matte lip Pencil by Nars as I already have a few and love them, and leave it to Tati to give us the highs and lows. I swear, I love that Tati is all about the makeup and reviews low end, middle end, and extremely high end. I feel like no other YouTuber does a better job at actually getting deep into the products and letting us know what's up. Tati, you're amazing: D

Tati, for a dark brown that doesn't smudge, have you tried the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creams? They have a brown one that looks similar to this one from Nars and Milani's don't budge at all It's a liquid lipstick, though, and I know you said you normally don't find many of them to be very comfortable, but it's inexpensive so maybe worth a try? Also, I love your top in this vid

I did not agree with 2 that at sephora were my favorite. Unspeakable is amazing I didn't run into the blotchy spots as mentioned, even after eating washed off but still was even. Also the unlaced at the store it was amazing but when I took it home not sure if formula was off or the lights but didn't look nice not bright enough and skipped spots

I just got unspeakable and toy and really like them I don't feel like I have to work too hard at them, and I knew going in that they weren't a long lasting formula, but they do wear evenly and have a very pretty staining effect that I really like I'm a fan: )

If you want to experiment with brown lips, I'd try the True Brown K Lip Kit by Kylie Cosmetics It can be a bit pricey, but if you want to invest in a lip liners and liquid matte lipstick that stays for hours, then I definitely think you should try it out.

Tati I know you are part Canadian and you need to get your hands on Bite beauty's lipstick in the shade molasses (Canadian company) It's sold at Sephora here in Canada and it is such a lovely shade of brown that wears extremely comfortably.

I wish they would of made them into mattes, these colors are perfect but to me, I don't like wearing dark lip gloss because if the color is dark, I want it to show up and stay on my lips no transfer and give me hell all day
