I think 165 is way way insane. Lol. Your eyeshadow looked gorgeous, but I think you're correct in saying that you can get a way less expensive high-end eye/face palette for the same look. I like to sample things before I buy so the way I do that is waiting when Nordstrom, Macy's or Dillards has a 7 or 8 piece gift with purchase from a few brands. It really helps me decide which products in each beauty line is best for me. The only problem with that is I have a million make-up bags. Lol. :)

Every now and then I just think about what the makeup industry and trends would be like these days if Kevyn Aucoin was still with us. Then I get all sad. But I have the same kind of feelings about him as you described, using the Making Faces book in my teens to sculpt the heck out of my face with a couple cream stick foundations, trying to recreate the photographs, just generally experimenting with how much you can change with just shadow and light.

I just ordered this palette from Sephora's Rewards Bazaar, for 1500 points, and I am so happy you made this video. I hadn't seen this palette before so I was a bit nervous about it but now I'm so glad I was quick enough to snatch it up After hearing you rave about the shadows and sculpting powder all throughout your video, and then hearing you say you wouldn't recommend it for its price tag, I'm glad I was able to get it for free

i just can't justify the expense but i totally agree with you about the sculpting powder. every beauty person i watch on here raves about kevin aucoin's sculpting powder like its the end all be all of sculpting powders. its not something they use to warm up the whole face but to chisel out your cheeckbones and nose its the top of the beauty chain. love you Tati and as always, thanks for sharing

i think u should read up on ur mink eyelashes before advertising them. One think im completely against is the use of animal fur in any cosmetic use or clothing there are so many different options out there. and the fact ur only using it as eyelashes? not think u could use a cruety free material?

Still mineral oil and parabens in their formulas. Boo hiss; ) Waiting for them to reformulate almost everything before paying that much for cheap, controversial ingredients. I want fruit extracts etc if I'm going to pay that much. Time to reformulate Kevin Aucoin Company

that highlight to me, is perfect. you can't see any glitter particles, is looks like a natural highlight. too bad I cant afford this palette just for the highlight, even though I would love everything else in the palette. Your Smokey eye is gorgeous I love a smokey eye on you

I really didn't like the eye look. I don't think the colors looked good on her at all and I don't feel it was blended enough. Idk if the colors just don't blend or if she didn't, but all of her other looks are blended so. not impressed at all with the palette
