And. The WINNER of the WEIRD EYELINER of the YEAR AWARD goes to Maybelline. but does it Work? ehfoster456: Hey there, Tati Back when I did freelance work, I picked up a couple of liner tricks specific to this situation. Of course makeup is a form of art, and by no means do you have to follow every single rule that's passed along. but this may help when exploring new liners. Here are the tips. 1) Apply liner prior to applying anything with glitter in it to your eye, then touch up your liner after applying a glitter product, if needed. It's best to do touch ups by dotting the liquid liner, or by doing small saturated strokes with a gel/cream liner. Afterwards, you should set with a black shadow using a very small, precise detail brush to stamp the shadow, instead of sweeping it on. 2) Gel/cream liners that come in a pot are the best formulas to use when working with glitter anything around the eye. For whatever reason, quick-drying liquid pen type liners like this one will skip and lift. The applicator tip on this particular liner will also pick up shadow and glitter onto it, which will cause the liner to apply patchy. Wanted to share that info just in case it helps you when testing more new liners in the future: .

Hi Tati, I'm a big fan and find your video how-tos and reviews very helpful. Thank you Could you please do a step-by-step tutorial on how to cover dark circles and tear troughs? (They're wrecking my look) I'm 51 with fair-to-medium skin, and I need high coverage that's not creasing. Tarte's Maracuja Creaseless Concealer works all right with UD Naked pink corrector underneath, but maybe you're aware of better combinations? Plus, I can't bake because that makes my under eye look dry and crinkly. I know you've done concealer videos in the past, but maybe you have knowledge of more recent products that do an excellent job? Finding the right way to conceal dark circles has become a life quest

Tati is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Literally gorgeous Such a hard working YouTuber, I don't know many who post daily However, I find her so monotone. Everything she says has the same tone and no animation. No, I'm not saying she needs to bop all over. She has a beautiful calmness and soul but. I just find her so bland. I feel like she tries to say things like other YouTubers but comes out so blah. Maybe she's shy, maybe she's not like this in real life. or maybe she's trying to be someone she's not. Anyway, sorry Tati still love you

Actually, Lancome came out with a bendable liner about a year ago and the formula is really great, it's long-wearing, smudge-proof, and it applies really easily (it's the grandiose liner, I personally love it and have been using it for the past year. Also, the box suggests that when you do the wing, you should flip the the applicator so the bendable part is facing outwards. From what I can tell from watching this video, I think the lancome liner is way better.

I totally dig this eyeliner Its strange to see another person feel different The formula feels great to me and Im always able to go over it again no problem (not that Id need to since its super pigmented anyways) It gives me the PERFECT sharp wing without using any concealer etc to fix it up And its the first eyeliner Ive used in years that doesnt transfer onto my concealer/inner corner of the eye after a long day, which is a problem Ive suffered with for AGES.

I hate to say it but I feel like we always need different liners for different things at least for me anyways I'm 30 now and my eyes aren't as soft and supple as they used to be so I find myself using one liner for my wing and then a gel liner to go over everything after my falsies, and then still for that inner corner I might use the same liner as I use for my wing or even the gel, but a different brush. the struggle is real

Lol omg when you showed the pictures of James's passport photos I swore he had his tounge sticking out I had to go back pause it and look closely. Anyway, 2nd video I've seen on this eyeliner and it turned out to be a dud both times. Thank you, because I want to learn to do winged eyeliner soo bad and I was considering this, glad I didn't get it.

Seriously, though. The amount of underhanded compliments on this video is amazing. Tati is beautiful regardless of what kind of makeup she puts on or what her hair looks like. Just let her live and keep your opinions to yourself. If you have to add an if or but to your compliment, it's not actually a compliment.

This is so strange Tati I LOVE this eyeliner, I don't usually do a wing though, so maybe thats different. If you just want a nice solid no fuss matte black line this is GREAT liner for that. I've never had a problem with it smudging either or gathering. which I weirdly have with the maybelline gel liner.

I just made a new ID card, a national ID (Go free passage through Europe woop woop) and since it's a passport/ID-card hybrid I wasn't allowed to smile and my GOD I look like a bloated serial killer, it's sooo bad. I just had to write it since you said that your photo was bad, because it wasn't.
