How is dunking your face in water more effective than spraying your face with water. If this supposedly is the best way to set your makeup, why are we paying money for setting sprays when plain water is better? Obviously dunking your face is not the most convenient option, but I can't figure out why it's more effective than a spray. Water is water regardless of how it's applied, help me out here

The water one works so much better with ice cold water and you need to just pack the baby powder on like so its really visible on your skin iv tried it and it works great but its not a do it every day thing due to the effort involved in it. P. S I absolutely love you Tati you are so amazing

The water trick. I took Stage Make- up and my Make- up Professor told us that using water was a great way to set powder/make-up. She suggested using a powder puff. I use a beauty blender and dab into water, dab on the back of my hand and then my face. That works for me in a bind.

I've been watching beauty videos for about a year or so and everyone is talking about powdering your face but I never had enough money for real setting powder so I used baby powder instead. And now I kinda wanna try the water thing too.

Tati, you NEED to send that OMG hair bow to Shane DawsonSide note: baby powder as setting powder is a cheap hack for school girls. I'm in my 40s and I still do it sometimes.
