There's a brand new double-sided makeup sponge call The Squeegie. but is it Tati Approved? Holley M: Thanks for this video I love to see these tests, even though I can usually guess the results. Such a neat idea. But I can't escape the fact that the beauty blender (and for me, the Real Techniques sponge) is just THE perfect tool. It seems counter-intuitive that you would get better, more full coverage with a sponge, but you really do. And the final texture the sponge leaves behind is absolutely gorgeous. I think companies try to come up with the new best thing, but we may have already found it. In my opinion, a sponge really is the best tool for the face.

Hey Tati So like, I use a silicone beauty blender but what youre doing (the reason why it feels like youre pulling at your skin and why it doesnt have as much coverage) is dragging the silicone across your skin, instead of dabbing it onto your skin. I love the silicone because it (in my opinion) gives me a more full coverage application. It uses less product but when I add a bit too much product, I would use the beauty blender to smooth it down. If anything I could show you what I mean on Twitter? If youre alright with that

Hey Tati I was wondering if you'd be able to do a video comparing different makeup sponges? The beauty blender is obviously a cult favorite but I know of other brands that make similar looking sponges like real techniques and xo beauty. I was wondering if you think it would be interesting to make a video comparing them to see if they actually preform all that differently and which one you like best: )

Can anyone on here suggest a full coverage matte foundation for combination skin that can be both dry and oily? I hear the tarte foundations are really good but i dont know how full coverage they are or how matte they look on the skin. I love there concealer and how full coverage thoes are. I cant stand the feeling of wet or oily foundations thats why I like the matte ones. Any suggestions?

Could you please try the new Walmart brand Moda Prismatic Face Perfecting Brushes? I recently got them and I absolutely love them They're only about 17 bucks and I would love to know how they compare to your Artis brushes: ) I use it with the Wet and Wild Photo Focus foundation and I think it really makes the foundation apply very nicely and they help leave a great finish

I feel is the sponge was bigger and puffier, I might like it more because it would blend easier and thanks to silicone on the other side it would waste as much product. I've seen some silicone sponges that are more teardrop shaped. I'm interested to see where the market takes us and if we'll see more companies come out with different variations

I really don't understand when these beauty ppl, who go on and on about cleaning sponges and brushes after every use and deep cleaning them once a week (who the crap has time for that, get a new brush or sponge and use it straight out of the package without washing it first What the heck? Do we think factories are clean?

I really like the beautyblenders but I don't use foundation everyday and sometimes I grabbed it after two or three months and found it full of mold after using it once or twice. I had to rebuy it almost everytime I wanted to do my makeup so I ended giving up, this looks like it could live longer

I personally dont like it when people reviewing the silicone sponges (like Tati, among others) say that not pulling excess product is a drawback of the silicone sponges. If you use less product in the beginning, you dont run into that problem and you can see how much product you actually save.
