I love/hate the LA Girl Matte foundation. It was so weird to apply. With my sponge (Eco Tools green sponge) that I use for all my matte or dewy foundations it picked up in places and stamped the shape of the sponge on my face. IT IS VERY FULL COVERAGE. With my brush it made my textured combination skin look absolutely horrible. I do not recommend it for dry skin or textured skin for obvious reasons. It settled on my nose weird in all the places but I didn't find that it oxidized too bad if any. I also have the other LA Girl foundation (this one oxidizes really bad) and it's great on my skin besides the color. I will have to try and mix the two.

Wouldn't the type of primer used affect how a foundation performs and how long it lasts? Not every one has Bobby Brown high end primer. I enjoy your approach but I just don't feel it's an accurate example of product performance. You even stated in the beginning while putting on the primer how much it in itself affects the look of your skin. Which is fantastic to know if I was unsure of the quality of that primer. But I can't objectively say I'm sold on the foundation because I'm concerned I won't get the same results with a different primer. I enjoy your content. Just giving my feedback. All the best.

Because of the blue eye shadow you're wearing it got me to thinking about my high school days in the 70's. All I wore was blue eyeshadow I had about 3 shades of blue, but sometimes I did shake things up and wear green. I think about that now and laugh. I sure never went past my comfort zone, but that's what we girls did back then. There wasn't a varied amount of shades that girls wore. It was pretty much blue, green, light purple and maybe mauve tones. It wasn't until my early 20's that I actually branched out and started wearing different shades. Thanks for sharing. :)

I would love to see you do Max Factor face finity 3 in 1 foundation. I don't think I've seen you do any Max Factor, but that's probably because it's so hard to get in the US. It has gotten really easy to order on Amazon and I am so curious about this particular Foundation. Just a little FYI you would need to get 75 golden. Every single Foundation that you have that I have are the same color and 75 golden is a perfect match for me. The Nars Santa Fe was even shocking to me, except I cannot wear it in the winter. It is a strictly summertime Foundation color for me.

That foundation looked flawless. Thank you so much for testing it out. I am curious if the foundation was acting funky between your brows because it dried before you finished blending. In the video you can see you and in the middle of blending that area when you started talking about the Huda Beauty foundation and I just wonder if perhaps it dried down a bit. It's funny when american beauty gurus complain about bad shade ranges and then I think about the shade range that you can find in my home country. Like girl, you should really see how hard it is to find any deep shades in any foundation in Finland. We literally have like 5 shades in every foundation and all are really light and made for the nordic skin.
