Lawsuit update. What happened in vegas?

Lawsuit update. What happened in vegas? In respect to the glitter-conundrum: Whenever I see a photo of world leaders meeting in some summit, most of the old guys have the same boring suit. sometimes its blue, sometimes black. Sometimes a daring tie color like pink. If they go all out, it's a BOW TIE ghasp. Some women also come in usually more colorful suits. This is the language of power. But sometimes you do see an Arabian leader in their traditional garb or an African leader in splendid, royal print. In my personal eye this is so much more confident and proud. But is that the language that's spoken?
I personally enjoy anything gothy/witchy, but i also always tone it down if i am in a function here I am 'just the mom'. Like going to a parent-teacher conference. Whenever the situation needs me in a function, not me as a person. In some cases I do not want other people's prejudices influence their decisions, especially if these other people hold power over me. If clients book me for life drawing, I show up as the occasion-appropriately dressed 'artist type'. For a fancy jewelry store that looks different than for a company outdoor summer BBQ. I am still 'me', but i fulfill a function.
I think, for a deposition, I'd also shied away from my loved smokey or halo eye.
It was very interesting to see your opinion on everything, thanks a lot for sharing this with you.

You are beautiful, and as someone who hasn't worn makeup on the regular for 3 decades, I have been kinda appalled with the trends of the corporate makeup machine to get you people feel they need to put hundreds and thousands of dollars of product on their face before they feel seen. I do get it, I have spent a lot of money on makeup that I use once because by the time I wear makeup again, it is no longer the correct shade or dried out or just plain I couldn't remember WHEN the product had been bought! Don't get me started on the false eyelashes. In person, I see people who literally look like they are going to fall over do the the weight of their eyelashes! You can't see them, or hear them as all you can do is be distracted by the small birds that are living on their eyelids. Anywho, even though I don't believe anyone NEEDS to wear makeup, and even see makeup as false advertising, I also love dress up, just not on the daily. And I have enjoyed watching all the products you show. I am being really honest here, it isn't that you don't look glamorous when done, but I really don't think you need anything at all. Sometimes I think you looked better before you started. In the end, I love watching what you do because of the joy you get from doing all this work. makeup is work.

I haven t watched this video yet, but wanted to provide some insight from a lawyer. I don t think the comments about glitter were meant to intimidate. Is it possible? Of course. But it s generally not helpful to intimidate a deponent. I m some states, it violates ethical rules to do so. An intimidated deponent tends to close up. That s not what opposing counsel wants. It s more helpful to make the deponent relaxed and feel at ease so they ll talk.
Obviously, I wasn t there, but I thought I d give some context. The glitter comment may have been a comment to connect/lighten the mood. And as far as watching tati s earlier videos, I wouldn t be surprised if they watched them. That s not stalkerish. That s just part of the job.

Tati, seriously. it's very comforting to watch a video of a women who tend to have the same problems as me. I'm about the same age as you and pulling your forehead back to powder is a game changer. I feel like influencers are so young, it's hard to get good tips these days. I feel so relieved when you said, other day, that you had asked James if you were too old to use glitter. Because I was with the same conflit inside me. I did the same question to my husband. Please thank him for being such a sweet person and allow us to wear glitter over 40. My husband also approves! I feel blessed. Sorry my english is not good, but I hope you could understand.

It's so funny, I was watching your nails throughout the video thinking what a nice color it was and surprise surprise, it's Brucie! And I am wearing Brucie on my nails right now too! Love Holo Taco's products, such great quality. (by the way, if you didn't know, Brucie was named after a character in Finding Nemo. He's the shark that says fish are friends, not food. Apparently this is something that tickles the collaborator of the collection, Safiya Nygaard. Great video, good luck always!

I have been watching you for years Tati 9 plus years! I absolutely LOVED this video! This is the FIRST time I have been able to see texture on your face so I could actually see the products working. I had to pause the video to comment. Like everyone has said, you definitely look more gorgeous to me now because you have grown into your own. I am just loving the new confident vibes! Please please create more videos like this. It was absolutely a breath of fresh air.

Unbelievable that they asked you if you were wearing glitter. They literally watched your video before the deposition and they wanted you to know it too. Seems a bit like an intimidation tactic. Even if they did it on a light and funny way. that question was asked for a very specific reason. My answer would have brought up the fact that they must be watching your videos. just to have it on record.

2016-2018 was definitely the more is more era not just in makeup but society as a whole, currently that's just not it we are in a recession everyone everywhere are stripping down & cutting back and the trends have followed hence clean girl makeup which I like. I see pictures of myself from 5 years ago and it's like omg too much you know it's embarrassing the flex culture was crazy

You can absolutely wear glitter and be taken seriously. Im 43 and work in a mostly male tool store and wear glitter every single day. I get off the cuff comments often about all the makeup i wear and i really truly dont care. It makes me so happy to do art on my eyes everyday and its my personality and thats ok! But thats creepy that they asked you that imo. Ugh. Love you tati

At 53 I have this dilemma, when it comes to the fine lines which thankfully I don t have a shit ton of thanks to my mother but I never know if I should pull my skin back or leave it the way it is when applying the liquid make up I don t care for it either way either it gets caught in those lines and it looks terrible or it s missing those lines and it looks terrible.

I seen this hack somewhere and I was so happy it worked. You curl your lashes do your mascara let it set take some setting powder on your lash curler and re curl your lashes. I done it twice and my lashes looked lifted volume and held all day like 14hrs I wish I could remember who said it but it really does look good. Hope this helps someone else out.

They asked if you were wearing glitter to intimate you and show you that they have watched everything you put out. They were being assholes to you. I hope you gave it right back.
Also the makeup girlies rn are basically like if you aren't using benefit brows products, you aren't doing your brows right lol idk I don't use it

I personally think you look more youthful without the falsies -- but you look lovely no matter what you are or are not wearing! Glad Vegas went well. Hope everything continues to go well & that you can get everything settled soon. Thanks for always being so honest. Soak in all the love because you deserve all of it!

The whole glitter question they asked was absolutely a flex to unsettle you. They were showing that they are, in fact, watching every move you make and it was to throw you off your game. Lawyers love psychological warfare. Stay strong and remember if they re resorting to those low tactics it means they re desperate.

Glad everything went well in Vegas. I was thinking of and praying for you lots! Love your makeup in this video! I think the yellow Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Powder hides the dark circles better than the pink one. I think because dark circles can also be more blue, and the yellow counteracts it.

Im pushing 60 now & have probably changed how i feel about makeup. For me, i feel like what im doing & where im going determines my makeup look. So if running errands is the plan for the day, my makep is more neutral. If there were some sort of event, id be doing more. Its just that simple for me.

Interesting the eye glitter comment
We watch your videos
We are trying to put you at ease
We recognise you are nervous and why wouldn t you be
We are being a little misogynistic although I doubt it was meant.
Really though Tati you should have asked them if they were wearing glitter

Beauty counter is indeed an MLM. I believe Sephora sold it for a short time as well but dropped it due to backlash. I have no idea how much they sell for at Ulta. But on their website it is 42. 00 for the blush you used.
P. S. I m so jealous I wasn t able to get the Holo Taco colab.

reply

Beauty Counter is a very nice, very clean brand. What is sold in Ulta has nothing to do with the MLM reps of the brand. Also this is a women owned brand and I don't care how they sell it. It a beautiful line that looks and feels and is good for you Cosmetic brand!

I love that you're embracing a more natural look. I just came back from a much needed vacation and didn't put on makeup my entire trip and now though I'm back home I just can't get myself to put on makeup again! Feels great and such a time saver!
