Maybe it's because I'm hearing impaired, so I hear tones differently than others, but ASMR has the opposite effect on me as it does everyone else it seems. It gives me a creepy feeling, like I want to get as far away as possible lol. (Mainly when people whisper, I don't really get the same effect from tapping on things or stuff like that, though I don't get a relaxed feeling from that, I'm just indifferent, but people whispering creeps me out so much lol. It fascinates me though why people with normal hearing like it so much, it makes me wonder if there's a tone that I can't hear that triggers a relaxed feeling for those who can hear it or something like that lol. As for Temu, I won't personally use it, since I don't trust it and I can find pretty similar stuff for low prices at places like Dollar Tree, Walmart, Ross, etc, but my mom has ordered stuff from there before. (Plus the way the products are made isn't that great from what I've heard, in terms of both how the workers are treated and the safety of what's in the products. I'm into 'clean' beauty/skincare, just because it doesn't have enough consistency in terms of research and how brands advertise it for me to take it too seriously, but I am cautious with what I put on my skin though. I just don't buy into a product just because they say they're 'clean, ' since that doesn't mean much to me at this time, since company's can say anything they want on the packaging, even if it's not true. With food, it's different, since food is much more regulated and it's easier to understand, but when it comes to things like makeup and skincare, it's still very murky and there's a lot of mixed information, so I would rather not stress about it and just avoid things I know my skin doesn't like, like fragrance.

This video is not in support of Temu. She is testing. For the person who suggested that she shouldn't have ordered, of course she should have ordered because they have her brand! I dont think she's happy about it, but that she is trying keep herself in the middle of the road. It was probably not an easy video for her to make. Good job not ranting Tati, because I think you had a few choice words in mind.

The double standard is crazy in this comment section, so many attack Temu and Tati while defending 'Indie Brands' when they are as unethical as Temu is crazy, Tati never said go buy it, she doing her job, wich is revewing make up, brands, etc. If you dont like dont watch it, all the time she was talking about safety and other things to have in mind, stop yaping so much.

I know exactly all the sensory issues. I was just diagnosed with ADHD in 2023. Just after my 52nd birthday. You should read up on it. I was amazed at all the different facets and manifestations there are to adhd. However, it explains so much of my past and experiences. I hope you find some answers. Much love, Teri

I'm trying to be less extreme too. it's so tricky to walk in the grey areas if life sometimes.
Between stressing about that and just stressing myself for no reason too so thanks for sharing that part. It made me feel like less of a weirdo to hear you've been feeling it too!

Please remember temu isn't versed by the BBB and there has been word about theft! Please be careful when ordering and mindful about what you are supporting with your spending - the workers conditions and abuse, knock off products, toxins, etc. Love you Tati but this is something I don't support (sponsored or not.

Yes, I cannot stand loud noises or bright lights anymore. I feel very overwhelmed with strong sensory stimulus. I just want low lights, quiet music, and comfy clothes. I have chronic pain and anxiety so I'm sure that has a huge bearing. Also Tati, please don't support Temu.

Oh my gosh Tati! I have fibromyalgia and some of your issues with smell and sounds and wearing oversized clothing is what I deal with. I have tremendous pain and I have to wear very soft clothing cuz it hurts my skin. Lights, sounds and smell cause discomfort to me.

Talking about sensory issues! I have been the queen of that since I could speak I called jeans 'hard pants' and refused to wear them (now I do, but jeggings or v stretchy ones. I am so with you on tight clothes and only recently have been wearing certain tight clothes

I cannot support this cheap brand. Supporting them continues the cycle of poor labor conditions, cheap labor and companies that pollute the places that house these workers. So unethical. They aren t the only ones, but definitely one of the worst.

Beware of makeup products from Temu. I watched a documentary of makeup products produced in a country I dont need to mention as im sure you know; what they put in the makeup (unregulated) would make you vomit; including but not limited to feces.

i have the same sensory issues lol. something new in my 30s i CANNOT put clothes on after i shower even if i m dry i need to stay naked for a while and air dry lol
edit: i would not swatch/use ANY cheap makeup even it s just for a few mins

Keep and eye out on your credit card you used. This site is known for stealing your info or charging a ton of small amounts you are likely to not notice over long periods of time. I heard just browsing the site can be dangerous.

I had the same thing happen to me when I had my breast implants in, it drove me absolutely crazy, I couldn t stand stuff on my skin especially tags scream! I had to cut every single one out.
