It's really upsetting to see bigger influencers say that make-up revolution or sites like HUSH sell copy cat products but yet if you look in their list of videos they have countless videos on dupes I've heard that they feel bad they are taking away customers from the high end brands by promoting these dupe products. Well in my opinion you aren't doing that at all. I guarantee that those are two completely different sets of customers. The people that buy from make-up revolution and sites like HUSH do so because they can't afford the high end products but just want a similar look. Knowing that the influencers already openly look down on these companies and have preconceived opinions on the products makes it hard for me to see the validity of their reviews.

Revolution has moved away from dupes since they changed their name from Tambeauty to Revolution Beauty. Their new lines, like the Conceal and Define and the new eyeshadow palettes aren't duping anybody. But they are great in their own right, and at a good price. Most make-up companies don't make their own contents, they order from the same companies in China, then concentrate on design, charging extra for the collabs. So you're paying for the kudos and the packaging. Even more so for makeup brushes. Jessup is made by the same company that makes Sigma brushes, for instance. The ones I don't recommend muchly are the skincare ones, which resemble The Ordinary, The Inkey List and GOW. The Ordinary and Garden of Wisdom are the best, IMO. But YMMV.

Oh ffs people. All you do is whine. Tati is always upfront about her feelings, she doesn't hide, she gives an honest review and there are plenty of other brands that she doesn't like everything about. Stop being so butt-hurt. She always says that there are things that she likes that other people don't and vice versa, she's not attacking you personally. And what would she have to be biased about? She doesn't do sponsorships or anything so I'm confused as to where this 'bias comes from. She doesn't seem unfairly prejudiced because she's never really been any other way with MR, just honest. Or maybe she got a bad batch If you don't like her videos, don't watch?

MUR use the lowest of the low quality ingredients (hence the price point) everything is made in China, chalky as hell or dripping in oil. Theres no middle ground. YES the concealer has coverage but it also stinks of industrial grade paint. Their stuff is great for people just starting out or people on a really tight budget - other than that id say to just avoid it. And to those people who are about to jump underneath me and say that the formula must be different in the US. Im in the UK. and its still poor. It's been around for years and its always been sub par and dirt cheap (and made in china.

I just love all makeup - I'll buy anything regardless of brand or price, I'll try anything. As a former owner of the original Huda Rose Gold palette and now the Remastered version, I can confirm that MUR Chocolate Rose Gold palette is better than the pair of them Yes they do a hell of a lot of dupes but some of them can actually be better than the original. I've heard the same things said about their Mint Chocolate palette compared to the Subculture palette, though I don't have either of those as a shade range doesn't appeal.

I got that exact pallet because of the fact that is all I can afford now when the government allows people who cannot live outside of a nursing home to make as much money as someone who lives on disability outside of a nursing home I will gladly buy the more expensive brands but for now I am very satisfied with the Pallet I have, I prefer not to have a lot of pigment anyway the way I was taught to wear makeup is to make it look like you aren't wearing anything at all just make your natural features pop.

When you live in a society where people shame a brand for duping so they can make good makeup available to less fortunate people on videos of youtubers that steal each others ideas 24/7. It's ironic to say the least. Why don't we just live and let live. If you feel morally obliged to buy and support more expensive brands fine, if you don't have the money to do so that's also fine. If it bothers you so much what other people do (or support for that matter, you don't have time to appreciate anything.

I guess those who don't like makeup dupes don't ever purchase generic/store brand products of other things. Groceries, body and hair products, toiletries, pads/tampons, medications, vehicles, clothing, appliances, jewelry, purses, electronics, etc. all pretty much have dupes (copycats. How many of you are 100% positive that the tv or cell phone that you have was the very first of it's kind and the technology, look, and layout was not copied from another company?

The majority of my makeup cupboard is revolution and Ive never ever had a problem with anything. I dont understand how people have bad encounters with the brand Their highlighters are glowy af Their eyeshadows are creamy THEYRE SETTING SPRAYS SMELL LIKE VANILLA And they overall have very good products as well as a skincare line I think that they are very highly underrated in the states as they are very popular in the uk
