Blown away that nobody is talking about this Samantha Flores: Im so glad she talked about the undertones available for people of medium skin tones. Im mixed and can almost NEVER find a good shade of foundation when I go into stores. typically if I ask someone to match any foundation to my skin they rep always says. theres not a shade that looks too great on you but you can buy two and mix them. no one really wants to do that lol especially for a 30+ foundation. Its so frustrating when I can find close shades but theyre typically horrendously pink or extremely yellow. It is something that should be recognized. And like Tati said, making deeper tones is still a huge issue as well. Im glad someone spoke on it.

Natural does not always mean better When you mentioned coconut oil to moisturize, I cringed so hard. If you really think thats best, please do your research & that doesnt mean google & read only the articles on the first page of results. Chemicals are not the enemy. Acids that you swear buy & pay top for are not the safest I feel like a lot of your messages are very conflicting these days. Youre only saying whats popular & not doing extensive research (medical journals) & stop giving your HUGE impressionable audience false (or 1/2) info.

While I do agree that deeper skin tones are severely under-represented in Foundations, I would definitely say that Paylor foundations are also under-represented. It's really hard if you're pale to find a good shade match at Sephora or Ulta Etc. I think the people tend to forget that I think it's just deeper skin tones that get the short end of the stick. Again I'm not contesting the fact that they do, I'm just saying pale people have the same problem.

I live Tati but I have got to stop reading the comments. People are still twisting her words/message. There are so many people saying she said we need to use coconut oil as moisturizer when that's completely false. She was making a point about finding balance with traditional synthetic ingredients and natural stuff. The smaller YouTubers have more supportive comment sections because the trolls haven't found them

I feel like brands tend to forget about very pale girls. (Im not just talking about Stellar) but I have a REALLY hard time finding a foundation that will fit my very fair rosy undertoned skin. When brands are focusing on the medium skin toned skin tones nobody talks about there being no pale shades, but EVERYONE and their mother are complaining about there being no dark shades I dont get it

Tati, Cailyn cosmetics has mineral eyeshadows. There are no parabens or other junk in the mineral eyeshadows that we shouldn't put on our skin. Also, the have the yellow mineral shades to do your mustard eye look. I have used their BB cream. The coverage is really good coverage and has a beautiful finish. I've been impressed with the quality of the Cailyn cosmetics line.

I like the fact that you are talking more about natural make-up. I hope to learn what works in 2019 because I have tried a few, and my issue is that the lasting power is not always the same. The application and the look is just as good but I want to find out if some products have just as good ability to last a work day.

I think the reason some brands are talked about more than others has a lot to do with PR. The brands that send out PR have a much higher chance about being talked about than brands that dont send out PR. And that's what I've noticed on YouTube. Thanks Tati for reviewing brands that dont spend millions in PR

Hey Tati, I just wanna say that natural ingredients does not mean they are necessarily better If you have done proper research, you would know that parabens pose minimal risk to human health (no solid proof of its harms) and coconut oil is an awful moisturiser (not occlusive enough. Peace.

It's very likely that the eyeshadows simply contain pigments that are not FDA approved for the lips. Ultramarine and a certain red pigment and a few others cannot be put into lip products so it probably has something to do with that. And of course to sell their lip powders faster.
