NEVER go to someone who does that method of removing SOAKING IN ACETONE Your nails will be red raw in no time and brittle. It takes 3 mts for your nail bed to grow out from the cuticle. Go to someone who uses a electric file they only take the polish off and leave a protective layer very thin but they don't file right down to the bare nail. It should only take 1hr with a experience person and watch that they spray with disinfection the scissors they use to cut your cuticle.

I never let anyone do my face or nails. Those are my strong points and no one knows my face and how I like my nails like I do. CND original shellac is the best. No need to file the nails down. I use silicon finger tips rather than foil. Lasts as long as gel without all the damage. Solar oil helps keep cuticles soft and strengthens nails. I love how you contour

Oh Tati Gel nails are aggressive AF. I did gel nails for a time and when I stopped my nails were so thin that it hurt to even exist. I had to cut them really really short to prevent them from breaking and I had to use always top coat because the nail had a porous texture and is easy to grab fungus or bacteria. Please, don't do that again to your nails.

The nail salon story horrified me It should NEVER hurt to have your nails done, whether it's gel or acrylic. Sounds like a bad salon and a bad technician You should check out The Gel Bottle Inc products and salons that have done TGB Inc training and use their products - you won't believe how painless it can be and how good your nails will look: )

You have the same issues I do with feeling trapped and anxiety. I have t be medicated to fly planes and other things. Ugh. As for the nail polish, the OPI topcoat is AMAZING for me. Just the regular clear top coat. To make it dry faster, put the cuticle oil from Beauty Secrets at Sally's on top and it's almost instantly dry.

We say pop in stop going to the nail salon and go to a proper spa for your nails. There is no reputable salon that would grind or soak to remove gel. They do that to save time to get more business in a shorter time. It exposes your hands to the chemicals: not good CND has a long wearing topcoat thats great

Tati what do i do? Im using a vitam c serum and a retinol plus other vitams serum. Neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer and face refreshing spray but my skin is STILL soooo dry. It doesnt matter how much moisturizer i use. My makeup sticks to my dry patches and my skin always feels like it needs moisture
