You would think they should let you do your own hair or have it done before you come in to a set if you want to or can! You would think it would save a lot of time getting ready you just get your hair done at a salon the night before or do it yourself the day before put your hair in a wrap and then the next day when you come up there take your wrap off, comb it down and go! If all you are gonna do is straighten it anyway. That would be the way to go! If they want to put it in a bun or Curl the ends or Do a sleek ponytail it would save a lot of time! In the runway they-re always about saving time you would think that would save them a lot of time! Just do make up in touchups! I am a hairdresser myself and I think it-s very hateful of them to not get your edges and to continually put heat on it all the Time! You would think if they want a model to look good all the time on the runway they would take simple steps to keep the models hair in good condition so that it always does look good! I-m so sorry that happened to you!

I am loving this videos by vogue, however lets be real Vogue has played a part in perpetuating this behavior. They had the power to end all this, now they just want to woke with this series which I do appreciate but please let this not be a trend, your influence has had a tremendous impact on beauty standards for women use your power to celebrate all beauty and create better working standards in the beauty industry!

Older models too. All shapes all sizes. But what about age? Age is never addressed. The older woman is still entitled to equality regardless of shape size or skin colour. They do not have representation on the runway or in magazines. Or ON THE COVER of magazines. They follow fashion too. Buy and read your magazines. But no one thinks about age as diversity. Its sad.

Curly hair is awesome. I have straight hair but I admire people with curly hair a lot. My friend has curly hair and I would advice not to change it just because you are insecure. OWN IT. Straighten it up or do haircolor or any changes as you wish. But never feel insecure for any features. We were never moulded to be perfect when we were born.

As a photographer/teacher since the 70s, there was always a wonder in me, -Why only one kind of model? - Still, I wonder why so few different faces? I spent my career working with mostly foreign people and heard them say what a tough world they had never fitted in. I liked all of them.

When advertising in Europe what kind of people do you expect to best sell a product? They chose based on what customers buy and looking at a brand like VS, when they fail to respond to what people like they lose money. You can't ask a person to like what you sell.
