It's interesting hearing you speak as a young person, trying to be seen and be accepted as whoever you want to be in London as opposed to where I am now. I would have been considered punk or different when I was younger. I liked big combat boots mixed with a short flowery dress with black under the dress to show through and huge earrings and hair. Now at 55, I just want to love myself all-natural. Without makeup or surgery. Be ok with my age, which comes with some invisibility to it. Interesting to see how you grow. Thanks for sharing this. I do think my kid's generation is very open to whatever people choose to do they accept. It isn't that big of a deal for them. They don't spend any time thinking about how others choose to identify or dress or whatever. They just accept it.

I just wanted to mention something, when you said that there aren't any good hairsprays that are strong enough for your hair, I remembered a hairspray that I use that is phenomenal. It's called Sebastian Shaper Fierce, it's some of the strongest hairsprays I have found, and it's sticky at the beginning which allows you to shape your hair the way you want it. Just figured I'd mention it since that hairspray has worked so well for me!

the short while im listening to this person i cant help but think how often these so called -colorful- people wear only black and how very judgemental they are about the others the -boring- people. Also he mentioned wanted to be with likes of him that feel the freedom to be who they are ( again only if they are as -colorful- as him, because being -boring- means you must be somehow suppressed )

I LOVE this energy they command with in space, this is the energy I try and emulate when I do my own looks. I just with it was easier to find others who also do this kind of -extreme- looks for inspiration and understanding how versatile every day objects can be, hacks, dos and donts. I can't really find much but through vouge and hooked on the look. It's frustrating

I agree with everything you said about society and I hope your vision of the future is the way that it turns out. also agree with your statement on the handing over of the keys. I agree with what they said about celebrities such as boy George. They did pave the way for people in a lot of ways but they definitely don-t understand or even sometimes respect non binary people or anyone who doesn-t really fit into the binary. I-m glad that Parma ham has a platform, I agree with what they-re saying

What astounds me about all these people with extreme style featured by Vogue is how intelligent, articulated and well spoken they all are. I admit to having prejudices against these types of people - they all proved me wrong and I'm actually ashamed that I held these preconceptions of them.

When I was living in London I had the pleasure of seeing Parm Ham many times in Slimelight, I was too shy to start a conversation, but it doesn't matter. So glad to see this popular space open to them. It's refreshing and gives me so much hope for the future.

More power to the guy but imnsorry, there's nothing whatsoever new or unique about the look. In the early 80s the alternative clubs were full of similar looks. Basically he's a goth.
