A delightful tour! Thank you Miss Harlech! Many years ago now I saw a human interest story/interview about/with Karl Largerfeld. The lady who told about an interviewed the designer talked about the remarkable number of things Mr. Largerfeld did: designing, photogrpahy and I don't remember what-all but it was a lot. The journalist asked almost if not in awe how Mr. Lagerfeld got so much accomplished. He replied, -Busy people always have time-.

This is the epitome of unnecessary consumption. I remember seeing a book of his, where every page was PRINTED black. The epitome of luxurious idealism. I felt a bit disgusted after this. Beauty is subjective anyway, so its the matter of how you present it, its all about feelings surrounding it, the enviornment.

I can understand why she was his dearest friend. She is so lovely and full of life. Yeah this lady change the perception that I had of him - it means that he was actually a very happy and humble human at the end, even if I had never a pic of him smiling. Good job Vogue! -
