I got the idea from a rag doll I had in my bedroom! Legendary model Twiggy takes us on an unforgettable journey through her Life in Looks. The once-overlooked, too small and too thin superstar reflects on becoming the ultimate It girl of the 60s mod scene, winning Golden Globes after her transition to acting, and shooting the Pin Ups album cover with David Bowie. Twiggy also reminisces about the glory days of the chic 70s department store Biba, the rise of Kate Moss, being featuredtwicein the National Portrait Gallery, and the new documentary chronicling her extraordinary life.

Twiggy my friends and I were obsessed with you. I tried everything in my power to look like you. You were magnificent!
I had 12 pairs of false eyelashes at the age of 13. My clothes had to be made by a dressmaker. My bedroom wall was plastered with pictures of you. I drove my poor mother crazy. . My friends and I still speak about those wonderful days.
I must say you are still very beautiful.

oh I love Twiggy. She's so REAL. I always feel like I'm just sitting in the room with her when she's talking, just so down to earth and natural. And OMG she looks so amazing. Her podcast Tea with Twiggy brings such comforting memories for me as she started in during the pandemic times and I would enjoy listening as I went for walks. She's an Icon and a legend. Love you Twigs

How beautiful, graceful and warm she is When I was very young, people called me Twiggy because I was very thin and I have very big blue/grey eyes like her. I always loved that. I am absolutely obsessed with her since my childhood. I hope I will be that graceful when I reach her age in this video.

It’s funny, in her first Vogue cover (US) although she is the new’ look, the US make up and styling harks back compared to her UK photos of that time. Almost a Grace Kelly look. Same with the Avedon photo. they couldn’t deal with her hair.

Twiggy & I share a B-Day.
I just adore her
Btw- I have always bought all of TWIGGYS music, she is a talented singer & actress
I bought her line of makeup & wish I'd kept the colorful 'tins' it came in.

Twiggy was the first model I looked up to as a child. Nice video and she still looks amazing. Seems she’s had a fun and happy life. An icon that brings an instant smile to one’s heart.

Thank you for sharing. I always loved Twiggy and my mother called me Twiggy as a teenager, because I was naturally thin and I'm still thin. The fashions of that era where my favorite.

Love Twiggy. Love these Vogue life in looks vids but I wish there wasn’t such big gaps in time between each look. I notice that a lot. A more detailed timeline would be nice.

Twiggy truly is the prime example of just be yourself! She became a model when NOBODY looked like her! She's a great example of staying true to yourself and who you are!

Wow, I knew she was discovered, but I had never heard the details. So cool.
I never thought much of her modeling days, but I loved her on ANTM and this was awesome!

I remember Twiggy! I was young and my parents would talk about her and I remember vividly seeing her photos. I thought she was so beautiful then, and still is!

This is great but it would be better to linger longer on the photos. Especially at the end so you can view the art with the new knowledge you have.

A really charming and interesting person - so glad to hear Twiggy share her memories in such a down to earth manner. Really terrific! Dame Twiggy!

wow. super down to earth and telling interesting stories. This was great for someone who really lived the whole London swinging sixties scene

Not only is she an Icon, but what a wonderful absolutely pleasant Lady!
She remained super simple, no ego. She's a breath of fresh air!

reply

She became what she became because she is talented and creative, alongside her looks! by the way with that iconic makeup style that she invented

This is crazy I just saw a classic pic of her at a restaurant and started to wonder where she ended up and here she is! Still fierce and gorgeous
reply

Her stories are really interesting, especially the way she tells them. You just wouldn't find stories like that in the current climate.
