For anyone interested - I've made these twice and here's my 2 cents: 1. They taste absolutely fantastic. 2. I found that 40g balls of dough were too big. 25g turned out much better for me. 3. Both times, I had to chop more chocolate + pecans for rolling the dough balls in. The given amounts aren't enough. Possibly because I made smaller cookies and therefore more balls. So keep that in mind.

Hi Jemma Happy New Year I enjoy your video posts. I would like to make these cookies but can't seem to convert the ingredients you have in grams to cups. When I do it doesn't make sense and doesn't look like the same amount in your video(s. Would you be able to list the amounts in cups or could I get the correct amounts if I use a scale? Let me know. Thank you

I made them yesterday and they turned out really great The only thing I would suggest is using a bit less butter, because the cookies turned out a bit greasy for me. Also when making the burned butter prepare for it to take some time and keep stirring. I totally recommend this recipe, everyone who tried the cookies enjoyed them.

Hello Jemma I'm a big fan of your baking and I usually try to copy anything that you make. I know that I should make the exact amount of ingredients for the recipes and if it's not too much to ask, will you be able to include the cups measurement on your memo? Thanks and Best of luck this New Year

Even if I respect the recipe, my cookies look like cake and not a cookie we can find in a bakery. Actually I'm French and bakeries are very popular, so cookies are amazing But, that's a problem for me when I just want to make cookies, it isn't good at all. Please tell me why it doesn't work: '(

Thank you for sharing a simple recipe All the recipes you share looks yummy but most of them are a tad too troublesome to make so I've always saved the videos but never made them. But this cookie is simple enough Will bake them once my cold is gone.

When in baking is it crucial to get the sugar dissolved? i know you check for it when you make meringues and whipped cream, but honestly, I've never tried to get sugar to dissolve in cookie batter. I've always been afraid I'd overbeat.

Hi Jemma Unsure if you reply to comments but if i replaced the flour for Gluten Free flour would it have the same finishing affect of being chewy and baking well? I like simple recipes and have a wheat allergyX
