SUPER EASY Burnt Basque Cheesecake Recipe

Do you get scared of baking Cheesecakes? Well fear no more! This Basque style cheesecake is all the things we usually avoid - it's BURNT, it's CRACKED, it's SUNK. and its utterly delicious! Invented in the Basque country this Cheesecake has no biscuit base, instead you get the slightly crisp texture and amazing caramelised flavour from the burnt crust. If you prefer a slightly looser centre feel free to bake for around 40-45 minutes rather than the 50 minutes as stated in the video. 8 Cake Tin 600g Cream Cheese at room temp 225g Caster Sugar 4 Eggs Pinch of Salt 300g Double Cream (heavy cream) 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Get yours here ) 40g Plain Flour

I made this one yesterday. Actually my 4th time baking it in 2 months. It tastes really good this way but if you like chocolate I would recommend melting milk chocolate and pouring it on top of your slice that should lay sideways on your plate. Amazing!

If I would have known this type of cheesecake existed I wouldn't have worried so much while baking a regular cheesecake, lol. But on a serious note. I'm not to sure I'd be thrilled eating something that's burnt, lol. Yep, still laughing.

I absolutely love cheesecake in general but since trying the burnt basque cheesecake it has become my all time favourite way of making it. So creamy and delicious. Can t wait to give your recipe a try

I will try this recipe in future. Previously, I bake two BCC few months ago but the texture is not creamy and the egg taste is quite strong. I hope this recipe will be the one that I'm looking for

Sometimes, I wonder if you can read your Viewers minds. Cause for the past a few days I wanted to make this cheesecake, and I wanted a reliable source for the recipe THANK YOU

Besides Sally's arm being too close to the oven door, does anyone notice that this commercial oven is cleaner than our home oven? I want to know how they clean theirs!

Geez! What a coincidence. Got mine chillin on the fridge for about 5 hours now. Can't wait to eat it whole. Yep! No slicer. Just my fork and my basque. lol

Sally you are ruining my diet! Guess I'm gonna have a cheat day AGAIN! Just to stop that little voice in my head telling me how much I need to make this
