Light, fluffy and delicious. You cannot go wrong with carrot cake! I thought I'd share with you guys how we make it here in Italy. The combination of vanilla, orange and almonds gives this cake amazing flavor and texture. :D : ) Carrot Cake Recipe ( in grams): 190 gr All Purpose Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Baking Powder Zest of one Orange 1 tbsp pure Vanilla Extract 150 gr Sugar 130 gr Grated Carrots 110 gr Butter( melted ) 3 Eggs 50 gr Almond Flour Pinch of Salt Ingredients for the Orange Ganache: 650 gr White Chocolate 250 gr Heavy Cream Zest of 12 oranges( depending how strong you want your cream)

I am going to make this cake for my mom's birthday so please answer mee. I want to make this in a heart shape and I am tending to buy a 9-inch heart pan but I only have one pan so does it ok if I don't split the batter into 2 pans? And do I have to change the measurement of the ingredients to fit my pan and also the temperature if I don't split the batter? Thank you so muchh and you with your cake are very beautiful

Although I'm a chocolate guy, I really love those kind of cakes - and I agree orange zest is a must on a carrot cake (especially here in Sicily, where we have just -a couple- -- of citrus fruits. -Oh boy I'm just figuring out the wonderful smell in the kitchen - so thank you very much: I'm definitely gonna try this -

Hi I love your videos! I would like to do the same but I'm from German and I don't know what's the difference between Baking Soda and Baking Powder. I do understand what baking powder means but like I said, I don't know what baking soda is. Do I have to use baking soda?

hi emma! I am super excited to try this cake. Carrot cake is my favourite cake and to think there is another version! I am gonna try it this weekend! I never used almond flour to bake before so there are so many things to look forward to! wish me luck haha

I made this cake for my boyfriend-s birthday and he loved it! It has a very subtle flavor and wasn-t too sweet. The whipped ganache frosting was fluffy with a subtle flavor, but a little waxy. Overall the cake was good, very subtle and not too sweet.

Beautiful Emma! Just one question, to make this cake really soft and fluffy can I omit the almond flour and just use All Purpose one? My husband loves those soft as cotton and fluffy cakes - any recipe recommendations? Awesome recipe as always!

Hi Emma thanks ever so much for this delicious recipe. for the frosting, can I use a bit more of whipoing cream and a little less of chocolate as I really don't want it taste too chocolaty. I do like my frosting creamy. thanks once again-
