I feel honoured to see this so early - my girlfriends parents are currently picking cherries from their cherry tree so i have just the right way to thank them for letting me spend lockdown with them

I'm always nervous when I get to that nasty separated stage with the wet ingredients making banana bread. It always comes out fine though. Thanks for the explanation.

It looks delicious; but far too much faff for me to make. So the only way I'm going to give this a try soooon, is if someone is kind enough to make it for me. :-)

Alas, cherry season has ended on the west coast for the most part. Oh wait: I've never pit a cherry by hand in my life! Yay for Safeway's frozen section!
