I live in Louisiana so thank you for this video and homage to NOLA. I want to thank Gordon for encouraging me, lifting my spirit, making me smile and bringing good food to my table. It has been difficult being motivated over the years after life changing accident I wish you would do a show for ordinary non restaurant owners here in the states to help us transform our lives and our cooking which increases quality of life and a possible future as a chef. As I watch you I have been looking for a culinary school. Unfortunately due to virus many schools are struggling how to teach in this area. Continue to share with the world and please come to Louisiana one day and please make sure you let us know you are visiting. I want to be there.

Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it. ---- FOREST GUMP

That looks amazing. I love shrimp, i love the idea of pickled asparagus and at the risk of sounding easily pleased. i could literally see the textured crunch of the french toast. perfect.

Did he really just pick that asparagus up right off the pan and hold it for 5 seconds. He's so used to cooking he doesn't even feel heat anymore
