Old pals Jamie & Gennaro show you how to make two different focaccia recipes. Gennaro opts for simple tomato and basil flavours, while Jamie adds crushed potatoes, fresh thyme and a handful of gorgonzola. Soft, fluffy bread with delicious toppings - you ll be hard pressed not to eat these straight from the oven! Serve alone or with cured meats for a tasty and filling snack. My daughter and I made this today. I've made a bit of bread in the past, but a fair while ago. But it was my daughter's first time (she's 12. We did potato and rosemary. It worked SO WELL. I love your tip about crushing up little boiled spuds. And the tip about rubbing your herbs in oil before putting them on top is a great tip too. Thx so much for your unending generosity in sharing great cooking recipes with us all, inspiring us to cook for ourselves and eat better. We will be making this a lot more! Shalom.

People are suprised on suits they are wearing. in Italia men wear shirts and jackets always no matter what they do. sometimes just shirt. if they want to be casual they combined white, blue or black shirt with jeans, they even wear white shirt in summer with shorts. Those younger and more edgy put leather jacket over. and shoes! shoes have to be always nice Italian leather shoes! Its mentality and they feel in this same as Americans in jogging clothes. They would die if you put them to gym /jogging clothes.

i've got to be honest. The end product is a decent home made focaccia attempt, definately not a chef result or not even a baker decent result. Gennaro's focaccia looks a bit more authentic while Jamie puts potatoes on a flat bread which is normally a no-no especially in ITaly. for any Italians out there i like to nickname Jamie Oliver. Ciccio-pasticcio!

An English chef should not even stand in the same kitchen than an Italian one. I have gone to Jamie Oliver's restaurants in London and they are like a McDonalds. Burger and chips. He's a fun TV petsonality but a disgrace of a so called Chef. Let the Italians teach about cooking (specially Italian food)

OMG! I just made this focaccia for the first time in my life and it turned out just perfect! And I am not experienced baker. I made it with olives, capers and jalapenos. Absolutely delicious! Thanks so much for the recipe.

Today, man in dark suit makes bread. Tomorow, man in white suite makes tomato sauce. :D But honestly, people really look great in a well fitting suit. Nothing suits you like a suit: D
