As a Brazilian, what amazes me the most is how europeans usually eat their roasts/meats at room temperature. Here in Brazil, it's just a 5 10 minute rest and that's it. We usually dislike room temperature meat. Christmas with room temperature roast chicken/turkey is an exepction, though.
Of course, this is not a rule, there might be a lot of Brazilians who eat their roast at room temperature for sure, but around my family and friends I can't remember that applying.

Jamie, there are not many people I truly love in this world but I truly love you - you're just so frigging genuine and passionate and giving and awesome! I didn't know we were supposed to ask questions. Why is it I always feel like I enter a room after the conversation has started and I never know what's going on?

Yorkshire pudding. was introduced to it forty plus years ago when I was a tween by my new British step Nan. Couldn't eat it with gravy. but being Canadian and polite I poured maple syrup on it. Shocked the hell out of her but started my appreciation for the pudding and now love it anyway I can get it. LOL

Jamie, I am trying to be vegan most of the time, not interested in red meat, but you! you make me want to eat any kind of meat or (non-vegan) food you are talking about or making. You are the best, I love you so much
