This kind of recipes are really usefull when you're working or studying so much that you cant cook properly (in fact of timeless. The pros, its that you can modify the recipe to your time, you can use pre-elaborated elements or do it the right way. Anyway, no matter how you'll do it, it will be tasty and healthy. AND THATS THE POINT! :D Thanks Katie! And Well done! See you next time; )

I used to hate bubble and squeak as a kid. It more often than not ended up being a beige mess resembling a pavement after freshers week. My partners mum makes a killer bubble and squeak on boxing day with all the leftovers and now I love it! I look forward to it every year.

Never heard of frying lettuce before! Is this Italian style greens? I've been to Rome and have never had any fried lettuce. which part of Italy is this from? I love brussels sprouts yum! I like to pan fry them instead, but they taste great when boiled too.

being canadian, and growing up in a resturant, as a kid, bubble and squeak isnt bubble and squeak unless it has turnup in it, it brings in a sweet tangy flavour that just keeps you wanting more, give it a try, love you katie, your a sweetheart

cooking plastic in water, the worst idea ever. I cannot understand how 'chefs' are doing this. Its not the first time is see people cooking plastic, and Jamie I love Foodtube, but you should all avoid using plastic, especially when cooking.

growing up in canada, we never used brussel sprouts, but instead used turnup, it gave it a really nice sweet tang along with the caramelized onions and salt and pepper. i could eat it till the cows came home

Don't mind sponsored content - but for the love of Julia Childs ease up on the annoying music! I could hardly focus on what she was talking about >_

I use a cake mixer to whip the potatoes. Add a little milk and butter as the pot spins under the beaters. You need a powerful mixer like an Olster.
