Biscoff Cheesecake zummi: Yummy, that looks great! We love Biscoff (Speculoos) on bread in the Netherlands! But I'm hesitant to use so much on a cake given the amount of calories (2000+ calories in one jar + the other ingredients): ( I've made a similar no-bake cheesecake dessert with Biscoff, monchou, whipped cream and fruit layered in small glasses before - I can control the portion then for my quick cheesecake fix.

Those cookies and butters are made in Belgium. Though the butter is way too sweet for me. The cookies become sweeter almost and more brown sugar/caramel-like and softer and pure heaven, if u use them in an all-favorite Belgian recipe: make vanilla pudding and pour it into a big bowl when ready, and put 2 layers of whole Biscoff cookies (usually 4 cookies/layer) in it. (layer of pudding-layer of cookies, etc. Top the pudding off with some as well (sometimes only one cookie. And put the cookies on the next layers where there aren't cookies in the lower ones, so everyone gets melted cookies to taste. :p
In the nineties my mom always ate a piece of bread with some margarine and 2 Biscoffs between the bread, and dipped it into her coffee. (Be aware: falls apart fast that way.

Crazy to think that Americans are now discovering that cookie spread, because I m from Belgium and the idea for it came from an ordinary woman that participated in a show kind of like shark tank and then Lotus bought the recipe from her! In Belgium we call it speculoos or some speculoos. We have a smooth and a crunchy version of the spread, the crunchy version is to die for!

I like that most times it's about feeding the family, nuts and bolts. But when you get revved about something I dig in. I saw Biscoff at Kroger but put it off as designer peanut butter. I am shopping tomorrow and will buy this. You have something God given about food and feeding people that is priceless. Thank you.

of course they are good, they are belgium cookies! we call them speculoos, we also have icecream with speculoos and some restaurants have turamisu with speculoos, we dip them in our coffee, or on a slice of bread with butter and than poor little bit coffee on them its heaven.

Here we call it lotus cheesecake.
The red lotus spread is smooth the yellow one is crunchy.
You can make it at home:
10 lotus biscuits, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of oil, and a quarter cup of milk. Mix it all at the blender.
Hope this helps.

Yessss. I discovered Biscoff cookie butter a few years ago and admittedly, I have eaten it straight out of the jar. I'll definitely have to make this because I know how good it's going to be!
