Today we re going to eat, learn about, and fully experience Lexington style North Carolina BBQ! Lexington Barbecue - Right in the heart of Lexington, North Carolina, Lexington Barbecue is known to be one of the best places for bbq in North Carolina. They slow smoke pork shoulders using a time proven process. The pork is ready, it's chopped, mixed with sauce, and you can specify the different chopped coarseness you prefer. O yea the bbq spots are called smittys bbq it used to be one but mom and pop died and brothers took over and well let s just say they did not see eye to eye to you have the original one and then you have the other that the other brother build and then there was two but they both are good but me I like the original very tasty!

I love that Mark is showing so many different ways of eating and living I'm the states. Canada doesn't have any southern food or culture here and they will poke fun at the accent if they hear it. Also many people in canada are vegans, gluten free, vegetarian and have allergy free diets who dislike meat or meat heavy food.

I m from Texas and we got some pretty good bbq you should try lulling and lock heart those towns I must say they have some damn good bbq and they are also know for the watermelon Thump lulling you should check it out geez Louise

This is the kind of BBQ I grew up on in NC. This is all I know. I usually try to get BBQ once a week, if not. Once every 2 weeks. My blood work is Monday, so my cholestrol aint gonna be good. lol But worth it, to get a fussing at from the doctor.

I am convinced mark gets mega money for repeating certain words, sentences and ides one eight after the other. In this case, I lost count of how many times he said Lexington and barbecue in the first minute or so.

I m so jealous right now Mark tasting that pork shoulder OMG oh how I wish it was me you can tell the these people have a passion for this and then it comes through in the food that meat is so tender and juicy.

I like that they use off cuts for smoking instead of just burning whole logs. Gotta save some for building nice things. I've done a dog shaped walnut table. Perhaps a hickory pig shaped table is next?

Mark Weins is not heart healthy lol he eats bad food all the time but the food looks delicious if not eaten every day I don't travel for food but he travels alot and goes to great places.
