As any chef will tell you, our entire service economy the restaurant business as we know it in most American cities, would collapse overnight without Mexican workers. Some, of course, like to claim that Mexicans are stealing American jobs. But in two decades as a chef and employer, I never had ONE American kid walk in my door and apply for a dishwashing job, a porter s position or even a job as a prep cook. Mexicans do much of the work in this country that Americans, probably, simply won t do.

I just love Iranian food! It's delicious, healthy, not smothered with spices and chilli, clean tasting and just a very comforting, satisfying food. Perfect for days when you just want to eat something soothing yet full of flavour. Some of their stews are quite easy to make at home too! And if you haven't had hot rice with butter, you're missing out

Whenever I make Ghormeh Sabzi (the vegetarian version without meat) for family and friends, I know that the world can't be a bad one. This is my all-time favourite food. It is so comforting, delicious and always makes me happy. Thanks for sharing your LA Persian food tour

I love Persian food I'm Canadian and everyone should try Persian cuisine, it's really delicious not a lot of people know Persian cuisine, but everyone should try it, especially the way they cook their basmati rice. NO WORDS!
