Chef Bao Bao of Greenpoint restaurant Baoburg shows us how to make pork gua bao in the MUNCHIES Test Kitchen. These perfectly steamed buns are light, fluffy, and filled with sweet and savory slow-cooked pork belly. Born and raised in northern Thailand, Chef Bao Bao grew up eating bao and calls them genius. We agree. They're a perfect snack (or meal) any time you're hungry

awesome - I was looking for a bun recipe and thanks for that insight in to the kewpie mayo (use it all the time and i didn't know that) Chef Bao - you seemed a bit nervous, don't be! you did a great job! Munchies- now it's time to up the game for the male presenters. HK has hotties all over the damn place - pick one, have him make dim sum - please and thank you.

tried the recipe and I was extremely pleased. I had tried another youtube recipe and the meat dry and not at all as good as this recipe. The other recipe took hours of tons of prep work and yet the end results were nothing compared to your recipe. Brilliant!

The measurements for the milk on the munchies website for this recipe is wrong, screwed up my whole batch. They put -1/2 cup (250 ml)- but 250ml is a full cup. Hope someone on munchies sees this and fixes it for the next person who tries to use the recipe.

Jeez, please don't put oyster sauce in there. Taiwanese people don't use oyster sauce. That's a cantonese thing. And butter lettuce and mayo? Sorry, you can call this a bao, but please don't call it 'classic'

So for us normal people all around the world can an American give REAL measurements please? Like 50g 250g etc. I can never achieve any American video tutorials because of those -cups- measurements

Bao Bao = Wow Wow. A perfect example of why I love Asian women. Great to see my future wife cooking me dinner. LOL Do yourself a favor and don't do a google search. Jaw-dropping pictures, Suay!
