In this video I'll show you how to make the best salmon with garlic butter sauce Brownwoman: Hmm, I don't have white wine. Substitutions? Edit: Ok, I made this not long after watching the video and I ended up using chicken stock instead of wine. I also didn't have dill, but with all the other ingredients you can't really tell. I still tasted the zestiness that the dill would've brung b/c of the lemon. Tasted really good! I paired the fish with brown rice and broccoli.

When salmon isnt able to flake apart, and breaks as you see in the video, it means the center layer was clearly not cooked as properly as the outer layer, the fish should maintain consistent color. The easiest way to do so is to leave the skin ON and to make scores on the salmon lengthwise to prevent the salmons skin from curling up while cooking. Great ideas, poor execution.

I made this sauce with juice of half of lime instead of lemon (cuz I cant find lemon in my country. The sauce look beautiful, smell good but too sour (unless it is too sour, it will be perfect. Can I put a little bit of sugar? Is that ok for the sauce?

Totally overcooked. Salmon should be rare. None of this medium rubbish. The only reason to risk a little more cooking is to make sure the skin crisps up. Skin off salmon is an abomination.

When I cook sockeye I enjoy cooking it on the bbq. I salt it over night to firm the meat then cook it skin side down until the fish forms a bead of sweat on it then flip it. Great vid. Cheers

People will say that salmon is undercooked as they're on their way to the sushi restaurant where The fish isn't cooked at all. I think that salmon was cooked perfectly.
