Whats with all the people freaking out about mayonnaise? This is a very common addition to chocolate cakes, it makes it more moist than just adding eggs and oil separately. Obviously you cant taste it. I mean, seriously? Everyone acting like its the most unbelievable thing in the world, how theyd be sick, etc. come on.

I've had chocolate cake with mayonnaise in it a few times and honestly you can't taste it at all. The mayonnaise is in there to make the cake moist and it works. There's no mayo flavor, I promise.

I can never make any of these recipes because I don't have two dozen tiny glass bowls to hold all the separate ingredients waiting to be added in.
