8 Fun & Creative Recipes To Make With Your Kids Katherine Müller: I wouldnt put the pasta inside of the Mac and cheese sauce for 20 minutes to cook, its just going to make a mushy pasta and personally (myself included) Ive found kids have issues with texture with their food. My brother couldnt eat mashed potatoes and French fries because of the texture when he was a toddler. I havent made the recipe but it looked a bit mushy. It also looked like a very thick cheese sauce and I wouldve added a bit of milk to make it a bit smoother and also easier to stir and to eat.
