Chris I know how you feel when it comes to measuring, but thankfully I have a trick I thought of. When measuring brown sugar put the measuring cup in a bowl and then pour the brown sugar into your measuring cup while it's in the bowl. Pack down the brown sugar and take the excess that didn't make it into the measuring cup and put it in the measuring cup, unless you have filled the measuring cup all the way. If you have excess brown sugar after you have completed measuring you can then take the excess from the bowl and put it back in the container (or bag, which ever you prefer) you store your brown sugar in. It's an extra dish to clean after baking, but it's better than a dirty work area or wasting ingredients. I suppose you could also just use a paper plate as opposed to a bowl, but then that's paper waste.

IMO traditional in terms of food always beats trendy foods traditional foods are timeless, trendy foods will eventually fall out of style when something cooler comes alongtrendy foods are a nice trick but traditional is what you want when you something basic and satisfying

To me this is funny cause they are like working hard and i appreciate it tbh but at home we were children and we helped my mom making cookies and it was messy but i swear when its done EVERYONE is holding a cup of milk waiting for those amazing soft cookies

If I were making a batch of cookies for around home, I would rather have a regular cookie that I could just grab and eat. For special occasions, I suppose the cup might be fun to try, but after the first time, I doubt I'd do it again.
