Was your banana washed before you sliced inside with your knife? From dirty skin to touch inside a banana? You can slice your knife inside only. I think most common people to open / to peel first. Then the rest is up to you.
I opened and peeled to put the banana on a plate so I put some peanut butter on the banana then I cut sliced then I ate it with my fork. I don't eat often.

Depends where you in USA apply these but in tropical country which is the favourite of westerners is not like these. some foreign when they are in tropical country like Philippines they adapt the society or the place they stayed. same the Filipinos adapt also when they are in their country

Ok I have no issues with any of it other then. When I buy a drink. I am eating the dang fruit! Also I can't picture eating a banana with a fork and knife. -
