That rug is beautiful and classic. If anyone calls you out on its price, ummm thats dumb.
First of all: Rugs are expensive!
Even affordablerugs are overpriced, at least in my opinion.
Second: Its timeless, you can use that rug for The Rest Of Your Life which is a life investment. If it was super trendy/contemporary, with like neon green and pink geometric shapes, then Id say youre over paying because if you wanted to redecorate and use the rug, youd be designing around that rug and it will be your ball and chain.
Lastly is its quality. Theres a saying: I dont remember what it is but its something like, better to pay a lot for something thatll last forever than pay a lot for something thats cheap and will fall to pieces and over it in a year. The quote is much more eloquent but whatever yall get what I mean.
Ive wanted a rug for YEARS, but Im broke so. one day. One day
