Hello Drew I know this is an old post but it's because of this post that I did a coaster set for my sister for her birthday last year so this year I was trying to do the same for my friend but I didn't remember how much resin I needed to use I knew that it was half and half but I mean ounces so I poured 4 oz of wine and 4 oz of the other in one picture and I stirred and stirred and stirred I put everything in there I had dried flowers it was going to look gorgeous it never dried it never set I had to throw away the molds I had to throw away the resin everything I'm so bummed out. Probably I didn't stir it enough I probably should have done two cups like you did and then poured one cup into the other cup but I didn't do that I did it all in one cup and just mixed it in the cup had measuring on it so I knew I did 4 oz of one and 4 oz of the other and I stirred and stirred and stirred but apparently not enough.

PLEASE DON'T SHARE RESIN WORK WITHOUT USING THE CORRECT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS! even non toxic resin is toxic! You MUST wear a full face respirator or a half respirator with non ventilated goggles. DO NOT WEAR FABRIC OR LATEX GLOVES! Must be Neitril ONLY as resin can melt latex and cause really bad skin blisters and much more.

Hey Drew I finally made the coasters they are still curing. With the left over resin I made a rose, oh my goodness it turned out so good! All my friends are blown away. I'm going to try to make something with color next and possibly jewelry. Thank you for the inspiration!
