Super excited to be sharing with you my kitchen makeover! When I started planning this makeover, I didnt think the transformation would that crazy. I wasnt quite sure what I could do in the space, as it was a pretty basic (upgraded) kitchen. With the help of some paint, peel and stick backsplash tiles + new hardware, the kitchen totally transformed from basic to magical! How do you think it turned out? Comment below!

This is really inspiring. LOVE the wallpaper and the million hack with electrical tape. gonna try that. However, I think I would have used the peel and stick tile on the right lower half of the arch way to balance out the tile on the left. or maybe some small black line drawing prints. maybe 3 small ones vertically stacked to balance the white on that side. Really well done.

Thats a lot of work for a rental unless you plan on staying there for years. Most places are not going to allow painting, especially black trim. Of course, if you dont have maintenance and such in your apartment regularly, you can get away with all those changes. A corporate apartment complex would not allow most of those changes. On a side note, it looks great!

Always wondering. People who make so beautiful interiors out of rental spaces, why would they want to revert, I mean, wouldn't the renter be more glad that he has something better quality, more appealing to rent?
p. s. the electrical tape doesn't work - it shrinks and peels of because of it. too bad! I'm looking for something like this for my window.

Could a solid black contact paper be used under the arch way instead of painting?
I realize you had the paint, but Im thinking in my LoneWolf inspired rental kitchen makeover, this could be a simpler solution.
Thoughts?

That wallpaper is everything! and the black windows are the perfect compliment to that. Im not sure I love the new back splash but, I am sure I did not like the original backsplash. Well done, soooooo beautiful and motivating.

Watching this video in March 2022, and Lone Fox's Hello Fresh promo code still works. It cut the cost of my first box from $100 to $59. First time trying Hello Fresh, and I think that's a good price for 5 meals + free shipping.

I absolutely Love Love this makeover! Only thing I would have loved to have seen the other entry of the kitchen doorway to be painted black, just like the arch way. But other than that! Absolutely Beautiful

Whoa. Why did you cover over the mosaic tile splashback with the rather horrid fake brick sticker? Love the wallpaper, the black painted arch, window frame and glazing bars.

I would be careful with the electrical tape. A lot of times it leaves black goopy stuff on the surface u put it on. With it being windows, heat might make it worse.
