-If it doesn't look like what it actually looks like, then your doing something wrong. - Granted. Therein lies the problem. How do I know what I'm doing wrong? If the problem were with my eyes, with my perception, I wouldn't be able to look at the drawing and say 'this doesn't look how it's supposed to', so the problem must be somewhere else, right?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I really appreciate watching your videos! I was wondering why you never turn the sheet? Furthermore could you make a video of the difference or best usage of graphit and charcoal during drawing?

Even though real time videos are a lot less easy to watch than the three minute speed drawing ones, it does help to see somebody drawing at the speed that a normal punter might do. It's a lot more encouraging.

You should really learn to recreate the appearance of reality. You can't really see the surface of the lemon, shadows are not sharp enough and the whole sketch just looks blurred
