Thanks Stan, informative I like how you interview people cause you have the knowledge you know what to asked them about. And you listen to some of the people question. I'd like to see you, interviewing Jeff Watts or his dad, more about technical side of a drawing or painting this small thing that you can find only inside a class room or a book are really nice to know. Thank you for a list of books on your website too.

Enjoyed the video again! When i first viewed it 2 years ago I totally missed the point of the interview. Now I am more informed and thank you both very much for a look into the mind and ideas of a great painter, one of the best I have seen in a very long time! I love this series. Thankyou so much! A bit of advice though is to not correct or lead your subject to your own conclusion. I would have -loved- to hear what Aaron had to say about his color theme you interrupted with your own conclusions. But besides that minor mishap: Love the interview!

I completely agree with that 'hooked' comment. My way or highway, pressure speech, boot camp. art schools that confuse military academies with the humanities often end up preaching nihilistic BS, let alone let you question it. Too much anger and paranoia. I'm sensitive too.

Dont stress painting the same thing multiple times. Since painting isnt a print based medium, there might be pieces you do that multiple people would like to own. So if you do two of a similar nature, now tow people get to enjoy it instead of one.

I think I would bring up my art on the Internet on my phone and show her before handing her my business card so it all looks business like. I think it would disarm her into thinking you were trying to hit on her. Thanks for sharing. :)

I make it a point to watch the adds so creators get paid. However its pretty disgusting of YouTube to put an add directly in competition with your art school. Lame YouTube, lame.
