I honestly couldnt tel this was Willem Defoe in the finished picture. The nose is way too small and the space between nose and mouth is huge. I get it's supposed to be a caricature, but it would probably be more adequate to exagerate features rather than making them up. However, great approach in concern to technique!

I-ve been doing digital painting off and on for many years, along with traditional now and then, and I-ve noticed I-m much better at going right in and painting. Sometimes I do an initial sketch first, but I feel like my work turns out better when I just paint.

Drawing and molding principles come from the same basis. Depending on who is good in what kind Some people may start from a small point. Someone from the drawing line Someone from the brush Depending on what kind of fun and skill Not wrong

i just happened across this video and i find it really interesting because i never learned how to draw with lines properly--only to paint with charcoal. i feel like the struggle for me is the inverse

I think you missed the harshness of the Willem Dafoe's nostrils and his mouth could have been much higher to exaggerate the long chin and jaw. Love your work and these videos Court!

Very bad, not even look like Daffoe. To make a caricature first you have to make accent on features person allredy have. Daffoe have sharp chiks, and big mouth and chin. Its easy!

Oh so that's called an eyedropper! I like this way to select colors, it's something I'll add to my work to save time! Thank you!

Is it wrong that I am mostly focusing or distracted by the sounds that were made when drawing, I can't be the only person
