I don't think you'll ever answer this but: I don't even question the fact that you have years, maybe even more than two decades of experience as a professional artist, to just start drawing whitout mapping, but why don't do so? wouldn't it save you lots of time?

True, my best drawings are those I did random without planning and over-analysis, and I hate it when people standing behind me or over my shoulder. But I stopped drawing for over 10 years, feeling want to continue where I left it.

I started out doing an outline for a realistic drawing and my outlines turned so extreme with lines it took on a style of its own kinda like this. Plus the tiny bit of unintentional shadow my hand made just from smudges lol

Yeah I'm more interested in a sketch style than a pure realism. Not sure why either. I like Sinix style-like somewhere between anime, realism, character design, and cartoon.

Great picture. That thing u said about the shape of the head, maybe is because the problem is in the posterior part of the neck.

Your head is fat and the Patriots is kind of thing to you have to change it I'm not sure you should clean it but just change it
