My mother tongue is Portuguese (Brazilian Portuguese, so it's kinda confusing to hear a language that I don't really understand while reading another one that I'm not fluent in AND look at the drawings at the same time. I-ve been drawing without reference like Kim for more than a year now, I like to think I-ve gotten pretty good but I always come back to his videos and it just shows me how much more I can improve, the fact he can do all this without reference is really awe inspiring

I love his line work. Sometimes it looks like he just scribbles and sometimes he draws over the same lines and the shading is just random up and down motion from his hand an him smudging the ink. It-s almost perfectly imperfect.

What is the name of the 2nd sketchbook he showed? It seems like it can hold light washes well. And I like how the orientation is in landscape.
