I think The 3 headed centipede could be has many skulls on its back; or the skull at the chest made bigger for accent;
or just put it to cover the whole chest which is facing down (btw i think there was a robot character that has some -rock-ish- face on his whole chest) so if it stands, it will reveal its -nightmare- to its opponent, with his red glazing eyes.

If i try to transfer a drawing into a different medium or format, it is not about how artistic or expressive it is. I do not necessarily get the artistic idea behind the drawing, but if it follows basic forms and has elements that are easy to understand, it makes my work lot easier.

I just imagined an adventurer in a cave picking up the skull only to find it's the hydra's tail. That'd be a neat scare. This was so cool to see! Thanks for sharing your expertise! -
