How to Sculpt the Loomis Head - Proko

After learning 3D cad software last year I'm starting to think that sculpture is a really 3D art, not this hardware and cash demanding software showing isometric throw on monitor plane.
I will work on cheaper version, because hobby materials become pricey recently. Ivanevsky made model from led bulb, but he is a cartoonist, so proportions are diferent from start.

I consider sculpture is much like paint art, you should have a talent and ability and so much time spending to impress the audience.
